Minor Storms Still Damaging Crops

Small, isolated hailstorms are still damaging crops across the Canadian Midwest, according to the Canadian Crop Hail Association.

“With the Hail season coming to a close, we remind you to leave the proper samples if you haven’t seen an adjuster and are wanting to harvest your fields,” said CCHA Chairman Scott McQueen of Palliser Insurance. “If you have any questions, please contact your insurer.”

CCHA member companies are investigating 140 claims of crop damage from isolated storms that hit farms across Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan during the week of September 9-15.
